Compensated Leaves. 1. Sabbatical Leave a. The Board shall continue to pay the District’s portion of the teacher’s retirement contribution to the Alaska Teacher’s Retirement System for the duration of the teacher’s sabbatical and will provide the teachers with all insurances. b. The Board shall pay whatever stipend has been mutually agreed to through the sabbatical application process, except that the stipend shall be not less than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000).
