Common use of Sick Notes Clause in Contracts

Sick Notes. The Employer will not require Doctor’s certificates from employees unless: 1. The employee has been formally advised that their attendance record is unacceptable and that the Doctor’s certificate will be required in the future, or, 2. The duration of the absence, or circumstances surrounding the absence, requires justification.
