SICK CALLS / SHIFT ABSENCE. ‌ 35.01 In the event that an employee is unable to attend work due to illness, the employee must provide the Employer with as much notice as possible, but in any event, not less than one (1) hour prior to the commencement of their scheduled shift. 35.02 When calling in sick or to miss a shift for any reason, all employees must speak with their Department Manager or, in the absence of their Department Manager, the Owner, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, on-duty Manager, or in the absence of any of the aforementioned, the Lead Hand.
