Common use of Sick Leave Sell Back Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Sell Back. a. After sixty (60) days have been accrued, an employee may exercise the option to receive remuneration for unused sick leave accumulated in the previous year, at the rate equal to one (1) day for each four (4) full days accrued in excess of sixty (60) days. Days for which remuneration has been received shall be deducted from the accrued leave at the rate of four (4) days for every one (1) day’s monetary compensation.
