Sick Leave Notification. An Employee who is unable to attend work due to his/her illness or injury shall notify or see to the notification of his/her appropriate Manager as soon as possible on the day the Employee is unable to attend work. If the appropriate Manager cannot be reached then a departmental representative or the Human Resources Department shall be notified. If the illness is of some duration, the Employee shall keep in regular contact with his/her appropriate Manager.
