Sick Leave Conversion at Service-Related Disability Retirement. Any employee who is unable to perform the duties of a police officer due to a permanent service- related disability compensated by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation or Police and Firefighter's Disability Pension Fund shall have the option of receiving a lump-sum payment of his accumulated but unused sick leave within thirty (30) days of the determination of the Disability or remaining on sick leave.
