Shutdown Notice. Purchaser shall promptly give notice to Seller of the Temporary Shutdown, its expected duration, and any Seller actions necessary to facilitate the Temporary Shutdown. Purchaser shall use good faith efforts to give Seller as much advanced notice as possible. If advanced notice is not possible, Purchaser shall give notice to Seller not later than two (2) days following the first day of the Temporary Shutdown.

  • Notice and warning of disconnection Before disconnecting your premises, we must comply with relevant warning notice requirements and other provisions in the Rules. However, we are not required to provide a warning notice prior to disconnection in certain circumstances (for example, where there has been illegal or fraudulent use of energy at your premises or where there is an emergency or health and safety issue).

  • Notice of Shift Change The Co-operative agrees to give forty-eight (48) hours' notice when changing a full-time employee's shift, except in the event of an emergency (an emergency is defined as snowstorm, or flood, or breakdown of machinery, or other instances of force majeure or an unscheduled absence of an employee). Should the Co-operative fail to give forty-eight (48) hours' notice of a shift change as indicated above, each affected employee shall receive double (2) time their regular hourly rate of pay for all time worked on the new shift. Mutual agreement of employees to shift changes between each other shall not be deemed covered by this clause, (i.e. the Co- operative will not pay a penalty for this type of a shift change). Such shift changes require the prior approval of management. The Co-operative agrees that wherever possible it shall verbally advise part-time employees twenty-four (24) hours in advance when the Co-operative changes an employee's posted work schedule.

  • Notice of Displacement Where a notice of displacement or layoff actually results in a layoff, and prior to the layoff becoming effective, two (2) copies of such notice shall be sent to the Local designate.

Prior to selling, trading, exchanging, or otherwise conveying unprocessed timber sold under this contract to any other person, PURCHASER must first obtain a certification of the person's eligibility to purchase unprocessed State timber, and their intent to comply with the terms and conditions contained in OAR 629-031-0005 through 629-031-0045. The certification shall be made in a form and manner prescribed by STATE, and shall be forwarded to STATE upon completion of the transaction. Obtaining the certification shall not relieve PURCHASER of the responsibility to provide STATE with an accounting of the delivery destination of that timber.

  • Advance Notice of Layoff The Employer shall notify employees who are to be laid off four (4) weeks prior to the effective date of layoff. If the employee has not had the opportunity to work the days as provided in this article, they shall be paid for the days for which work was not made available.

  • Proposed Services A description of the Contractor’s proposed services to accomplish the specified work requirements, including dates of completion.

  • STOP WORK NOTICE The City may issue an immediate Stop Work Notice in the event the Contractor is observed performing in a manner that is in violation of Federal, State, or local guidelines, or in a manner that is determined by the City to be unsafe to either life or property. The Contractor shall be liable for all costs incurred by the City as a result of the issuance of such Stop Work Notice.
