Common use of Shift Differential Clause in Contracts

Shift Differential. The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

The Employees who work between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. shall be paid a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents (of $0.65) .50 per hour hour, in addition to their regular base hourly rate of pay, for all hours actually worked on during that shifttime. Such shift Shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall will not apply during periods of to any hours paid as sick leave. The shift Staff whose regular work shifts begin between the hours of 1:00 pm 19 and 4:59 am will receive a differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five of $0.50 cents ($0.65) per hour for all regular compensated hours 20 worked on that shiftduring those shifts. Shift Differential. The Bargaining Unit members who through the regular shift bid process are scheduled to work a shift beginning between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00 am shall receive a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. of $.50 per hour. Any Bargaining Unit member earning a shift differential who works overtime into where differential is not paid, shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours continue to earn that differential provided the time worked on that is contiguous with the member’s regular shift. Shift Differential. The Employees assigned to a shift in which a majority of time worked falls between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be paid an additional $1.00 per hour for the entire shift. An employee assigned to a shift that qualifies for shift differential pay shall receive the same shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during authorized periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required , or when assigned to a different shift for less than a full work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differentialweek.

Shift Differential. The A shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. of $1.00 per hour shall be sixty-five cents (paid for regularly scheduled hours actually worked between 17:00 hours and 07:00 hours. Shift differential shall not be subject to overtime percentages and will be paid out at $0.65) 1.00 per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to regardless of the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime , occupational injury leave, disability leave, vacation, personal leave, holiday time off or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differentialcompensatory time off.

Shift Differential. The 17.01 Where, because of operational requirements, the hours of work of Employees are scheduled into shifts, Employees shall be paid a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents of one dollar ($0.651.00) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall An employee will not be eligible for the shift differentialdifferential for hours worked at premium rates, except that employees will be eligible for shift differential for applicable shifts worked on statutory holidays.

Shift Differential. The Employees shall be paid a shift differential of $0.50 per hour, effective the first full pay following ratification, for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all regular hours worked on that shifta scheduled shift commencing at 12:00 p.m. or later. Such Effective May 1, 2017 the shift differential shall be in addition will increase to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential$0.60 per hour.

The Employees who are scheduled to work more than five hours after 2:30 p.m. in a single workday shall receive a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. The Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence on or after 1800 hours shall receive a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents (of $0.65) 1.00 per hour for all hours worked on that shifthour. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects Overtime shall not be eligible for calculated on the shift differential, nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

Such occur between 6:00 p.m. and midnight, and a shift differential of eighty cents ($0.80) per hour for any regularly scheduled permanent shift of which four (4) or more hours occur between midnight and 6:00 a.m. Employees who work rotating shifts on a regularly scheduled permanent basis shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

Shift Differential. The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before between the hours of 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. p.m. and 6:00 a.m. shall be one dollar and sixty-five cents ($0.651.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shiftbefore 6:00 am and after 6:00pm. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and pay, shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay between 3:00 p.m. and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.7:00 a.m.

The Employees shall be paid a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-of eighty five cents ($0.6585¢) (effective 2018 January 01 ninety cents (90¢)) per hour for all regular hours required to be worked on after 1800 hours and before 0600 hours, provided that shift. Friday through Monday: 5:00pm – 3:00am including daytime hours. Employees cannot receive the working differential rate and the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for on-call rate using the shift differentialsame hours.

Shift Differential. The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 6:00 P.M. shall be sixtytwo dollars and twenty-five cents ($0.652.25.) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. before 6:00 A.M. or after 6:00 P.M. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, calculations but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule An employee who are required requests and is approved by their supervisor to work overtime before 6 A.M. or who are called back to work for special projects after 6 P.M., shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

Shift Differential. The A shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. of $0.75 per hour shall be sixty-five cents (paid to Permanent and Casual Employees whose work falls between 16:30 and 07:30 hours Monday to Friday. A weekend premium of $0.65) 1.00 per hour for shall be paid to all Employees whose work falls between 07:31 hours worked on that shiftSaturday and 7:29 hours Monday. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential11.05.

The Employees will receive a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixtyof seventy-five cents ($0.65.75) per hour hour, for all an entire shift if at least half of the hours worked on of that shift. Scheduling of pay shifts falling wholly or partially outside of normal work hours shall only be done as necessitated by the work needing to be completed and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods the request or convenience of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differentialemployees.

Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for calculated on the shift differential, nor shall the shift differential be paid for absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

Shift Differential. A. The Employer agrees to pay, in addition to the employee’s regular hourly rate, a shift differential of sixty cents ($0.60) per hour for employees working on assigned shifts any regularly scheduled permanent shift of which begin before four (4) or more hours occur between 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be p.m. and midnight, and a shift differential of sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all any regularly scheduled permanent shift of which four (4) or more hours worked occur between midnight and 6:00 a.m. Employees who work rotating shifts on that shift. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

The Employees who work shifts that have a regular starting time between 12:00pm (noon) and 6:00 a.m., or for all work shifts that have a regular schedule that includes a Saturday or Sunday shall be paid a night/weekend shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents (of $0.65) 1.661 per hour for all hour worked on the qualified shift including overtime hours worked on that immediately adjacent to the qualified shift. Such shift differential The differentials shall be in addition applied to all compensated hours paid to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leaveemployee regularly assigned to the shift. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential."

Shift Differential. The A Benefit Eligible Employee performing work between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. will receive a shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents (of $0.65) 1.50 per hour in 2023 and will receive a shift differential of $1.75 per hour in 2024 and thereafter for all hours worked on during that shifttime period. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differentialovertime.

An employee who is entitled to a shift differential for all work on his or her regular shift shall receive the shift differential for overtime hours worked on that are an extension of his or her regular shift. However employees on other shifts are eligible for overtime. In no circumstances will overtime be paid in conjunction with shift differential.
