  • ENTERTAINERS AND SPORTSPERSONS 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 14, income derived by a resident of a Contracting State as an entertainer, such as a theatre, motion picture, radio or television artiste, or a musician, or as a sportsperson, from that resident’s personal activities as such exercised in the other Contracting State, may be taxed in that other Contracting State.

  • Supervisors Supervisors may continue to perform bargaining unit work which is incidental to their jobs. They may also perform bargaining unit work in emergency situations and where such work is necessary to train a covered member. Such work by supervisors may result from but shall not cause any layoffs of covered members.

  • Counselors A. Newly ordered file cabinets for Counselors will have locks. No Counselors shall be held accountable, unless through their own negligence, for the loss of school records unless there is a secure place for storage.

  • Mentors The College agrees to pay $1,000 to faculty members selected to serve as mentors for new full- time faculty in each year of this Agreement. The mentors will be selected by mutual agreement of the Federation President and the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, who shall also mutually agree to the number and duties of mentors to be selected in each year of the Agreement. A proportional number of the College’s new full-time faculty for each academic year will be assigned to each mentor.

  • Witnesses At any stage of the grievance or arbitration procedure, the parties may have the assistance of the employee(s) concerned as witnesses and any other witnesses. All reasonable arrangements will be made to permit the concerned parties or the Arbitrator(s) to have access to the Employer's premises to view any working conditions which may be relevant to the settlement of the grievance.

  • ARTISTES AND SPORTSPERSONS 1.   • Consultants Any and all consultant(s), sub-consultant(s), subcontractor(s), or agent(s) to the Architect.

  • Stewards Stewards who attend Union/Management and Professional Responsibility Committee meetings outside of scheduled work hours shall be paid at straight time rates for time spent at the meetings.

  • People in this context are the recipients of services provided by the local authority, or the direct beneficiaries of its activities. They can be of any age, for example:-  residents of local authority homes;  clients of, for example, social workers and home carers;  pupils of schools in the local authority’s area;  users of libraries and leisure facilities;  recipients of local authority services, including public health services;  those who benefit from local authority inspection and registration activities;  users of cafes, restaurants and other businesses, who benefit from local authority inspection and enforcement activities. Those who are "beneficiaries" or recipients will not necessarily be happy with the relevant activities, for example, abused children removed from their families, restaurant owners being inspected for compliance with hygiene regulations.

  • Moonlighting 24.01 The Company and the Union agree in principle to eliminate the practice commonly referred to as moonlighting.
