Section 4 - Effect of Time Limits. The failure of the grievant and/or the Union to file the grievance or proceed from one step of the grievance procedure to the next step within the time limits set forth herein shall be deemed to be a waiver of thegrievance and shall constitute a waiver of all future appeals concerning the particular grievance.

  • Extension of Time Limits The time limits referred to in this Article may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties in writing.

Failure of the County to respond within the time limit at any step shall result in an automatic advancement of the grievance to the next step.
