Discussions Before Termination (a) Where an employer has made a definite decision that the employer no longer wishes the job the employee has been doing done by anyone and this is not due to the ordinary and customary turnover of labour and that decision may lead to termination of employment, the employer shall hold discussions with the employees directly affected and with his/her union, where applicable.
Returning from Leave Employees returning early from leave of absence must submit a request to return to work in writing. Employees returning from a medical leave of absence may be required to certify their ability to return to work at least five (5) working days prior to the requested date of the return. Xxxxx’s leave (1) An employee is entitled to use up to 10 days accrued personal leave each year to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill and requires his or her care.
