Salary Increase. Pay Equity This Agreement is entered into by the State of Oregon, acting through its Department of Administrative Services, Labor Relations Unit (Employer), and the SEIU Local 503, OPEU (Union). The State of Oregon and SEIU Local 503 share a belief in equal pay for equal work and share a common interest in closing the wage gap between men and women. More than twenty-five (25) years ago, the Parties worked together in an historic effort to close the wage gap and made incredible progress. However, despite that good work, a gap may still remain; therefore, the Parties agree to the following: The Employer shall discuss their recommendations with the Union and also provide the Union the opportunity to make recommendations on how to close any gap for represented employees, including but not limited to policy initiatives and funding needs.
