Grievance Investigation. The Employer agrees to supply to the Union the names of all applicants for a vacancy, or new position in the course of a grievance investigation.

Grievance Investigation. A shop xxxxxxx or a Union Committee member shall obtain permission of their immediate supervisor who is outside of the bargaining unit prior to leaving their work duties to undertake the following Union responsibilities. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld where operational requirements permit. This time shall be without loss of pay or benefits.

The Union shall designate not more than three individuals who shall have the right to enter all schools for the purpose of investigating grievances or potential grievances and conducting Union business, provided, however, that such activity shall not interrupt the education process shall only be carried on during the regular school day and the visit shall only be made after notifying the office of the Building Principal.
Grievance Investigation. Certified Union representatives shall be excused from work for reasonable periods of time during their scheduled working hours when handling grievances in the appropriate steps of this grievance procedure, excluding arbitration, without loss of pay. Employees thus duly certified and recognized as Union Representatives shall report to and obtain permission from their immediate supervision whenever it becomes necessary to leave their work for the purpose of handling grievances in their respective divisions or districts, shall inform their supervision of their intended destinations and itinerary, shall notify the supervision of any department in which it becomes necessary to contact employees for the purpose of settling or investigating grievances, and shall report back to their immediate supervision at the time they return to work. The above Union Officials shall have access to the plant with proper approval at any time and shall notify supervision in the area in which they are present.
Grievance Investigation. Where an employee has asked or is obliged to be represented by the Alliance in relation to the presentation of a grievance and an employee acting on behalf of the Alliance wishes to discuss the grievance with that employee, the employee and the representative of the employee will, where operational requirements permit, be given reasonable leave with pay for this purpose when the discussion takes place in the headquarters area of such employees and leave without pay when it takes place outside the headquarters area of such employees.

The Corporation recognizes that Stewards may be required from time to time to investigate disputes arising from the interpretation, application, or operation of the Agreement. The Union recognizes that each Xxxxxxx is employed full-time by the Corporation and that the Xxxxxxx will not leave work during working hours without first receiving permission from their non- bargaining unit supervisor, which will be granted provided the employee can be spared without materially affecting the operation of the department.
Grievance Investigation. The Job Xxxxxxx may, within reason, investigate and process grievances or confer with the Representative(s) of the Union during regular working hours, without loss of pay.
Grievance Investigation. Upon complaint of a teacher, the President of the Union or his/her designee, shall be free to investigate matters which may result in a grievance being filed. However, the immediate supervisor shall first be given the opportunity to resolve the issue with the teacher within three school days of the complaint, prior to the investigation. Said President or designee shall notify his/her superior in advance.
