Common use of Safety Reporting Clause in Contracts

Safety Reporting. All employees shall promptly report unsafe working conditions, activities or equipment to their immediate supervisors. If the immediate supervisor does not ▇▇▇▇▇ the problem within a reasonable time, an employee may report the unsafe condition to the Chief of the section. An employee shall not be disciplined for reporting unsafe conditions. The appropriate supervisor shall attempt to ▇▇▇▇▇ the problem or will report to the employee or his/her representative in five (5) days or less reasons why the problem cannot be abated in an expeditious manner.
