Summary of Work. The work consists of the reconstruction and overlay of various roads throughout the City. Associated adjustments to curbs and gutter, utility structures and installation of traffic control devices and marking is also included in the scope of work. The use of the roadways varies from local residential, high traffic collectors, to heavy truck industrial. Temporary traffic control measures will be needed to allow for local pedestrian and vehicular traffic access along these roadways. Bid Opening: Sealed bids addressed to Xx. Xxx Xxxxxxxx, Interim City Manager, will be received until Thursday, June 16th 2022 at 3:00 p.m., Central Daylight Time (CDT). At that time received bids shall be publicly opened in a meeting held in Rio Grande City, City Hall, City Hall Meeting Room. Late bids shall not be accepted.
