Common use of Retiree Recognition Clause in Contracts

Retiree Recognition. The District will initiate an Employee Recognition program designed to acknowledge and commend service to District 742 schools. The Employee Recognition program will provide a tangible memento of appreciation to employees at five (5) year intervals, beginning with ten (10) years of completed service at an annual event planned by the District. In addition, each May, a special recognition event will be held to honor bargaining unit members upon retirement. Scheduling of this event will be done in collaboration with the SCEA to avoid schedule conflicts.
