Common use of Responsibilities of the Hospital Clause in Contracts

Responsibilities of the Hospital. 16. It shall be the exclusive responsibility of the Executive Administrator to determine the mission, merit, necessity and organization of any service or activity within the Hospital, to set standards of service and, subject to the settlement agreement, to direct the work force in meeting those standards as set forth in conformance with the Charter of the City and County of San Francisco, Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx-Xxxxx Act and various ordinances of the City and County of San Francisco. It shall be the responsibility of the Executive Administrator to determine and implement administrative policies consistent with the intent of the Charter and other appropriate Federal, State, and City and County boards, commissions, and officers. The Executive Administrator shall also be responsible for reducing the forces under his/her jurisdiction to conform to the needs of the work of the Hospital, and for determining the methods, means, and personnel by which the Hospital’s operation are to be conducted. These rights will be exercised in accordance with the provisions of the settlement agreement and this MOU.
