Required Fingerprinting of Employees. The City requires all employees who are hired, transferred, or promoted to positions with oversight responsibilities for senior citizens to be fingerprinted for California Department of Justice (DOJ) clearance that require fingerprinting by federal, state or local law(s). Fingerprinting shall be done in accordance with said law(s). The City may also require employees be fingerprinted if they are transferred, or promoted to positions with oversight responsibilities for senior citizens or oversight responsibilities for confidential, and/or sensitive documents or equipment.
