Common use of Reporting Accidents Clause in Contracts

Reporting Accidents. The Contractor shall prepare and submit to the COR and the POSHO reports of significant accidents on site. The Contractor shall record and document data and actions taken in accordance with industry standards. For this purpose, a significant accident is defined to include events where personal injury is sustained, property loss is sustained, or where the event posed a significant threat of loss of property or personal injury. Unusual Conditions When an unusual condition of the property or site is discovered during work (e.g., pesticide leaks on the interior of foundations, or any pesticide application which may contaminate a building or overexpose an occupant), the Contractor shall stop work immediately and advise the COR. The Contractor shall follow with a special report, if deemed necessary by the COR.
