Rangeland Fire Protection Associations. A Rangeland Fire Protection Association (RFPA) is a nonprofit organization that has entered into a Rangeland Fire Protection Agreement with the IDL, for the detection, prevention, and suppression of range fires with the state of Idaho or any agency of the state of Idaho. An RFPA has the authority to form in Idaho through Idaho Code § 38-104B. Through the agreement with the IDL, Idaho RFPA’s are required to properly train and equip members with PPE and radio communications. They are also required to carry liability insurance. Once all terms of the agreement with the IDL have been met, the RFPA is authorized to engage in suppression activities within the terms of their agreements and/or Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). In areas where RFPA’s and wildland fire protection agencies share common fire protection interests, the entities are encouraged to enter into local agreements or MOUs to define operational procedures and responsibilities. RFPA resources cannot be mobilized outside the area covered by their local agreements. Fire reporting and dispatch procedures are detailed in the agreements that RFPAs hold with individual agencies and are specific to the signatory agencies.

  • Whistle Blower Protection Provided a nurse has followed reasonable policies or procedures issued by the Employer concerned to protect the Employer’s entitlement to investigate and address any allegation of wrongdoing, nurses will not be subject to discipline or reprisal for the reasonable exercise of their professional obligations, including those related to patient advocacy.

  • HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION The Purchaser acknowledges that a Home Owners Association (“HOA”) will be established to regulate, control and manage the common interests of the owners of properties in the development. The Seller will appoint and delegate any or all of its powers and duties in the management of the development to a Managing Agent of its choice. On registration of transfer the Purchaser will become a member of the HOA and be bound by its constitution. The Purchaser specifically acknowledges that he will be liable for levies plus VAT thereon, an estimate of which is detailed in Schedule “A”. The Seller reserves the right to install fibre optic communication or any other data and/or voice communication services in respect of the development as well as a network to serve each individual unit within the development. In the event that the Seller so elects to install the aforesaid communication and network, an additional levy per month shall be imposed upon the owners by the Home Owners Association for these services. The Purchaser specifically acknowledges that he/she will be liable for this additional levy plus VAT thereon, an estimate of which is detailed in Schedule “A”. The Purchaser herewith acknowledges that he has received and read a copy of the draft proposal of the Home Owners Association and understands the contents thereof.

  • Meadow Protection Reasonable care shall be taken to avoid damage to the cover, soil, and wa- ter in xxxxxxx shown on Sale Area Map. Vehicular or skidding equipment shall not be used on xxxxxxx, ex- cept where roads, landings, and tractor roads are ap- proved under B5.1 or B6.422. Unless otherwise agreed, trees felled into xxxxxxx shall be removed by endlining. Resulting logging slash shall be removed where neces- sary to protect cover, soil, and water.

  • Staff Protection A. The District shall protect certificated employees acting within the scope of their employment by purchasing liability insurance in the amount of at least five million dollars ($5,000,000) per occurrence, and the District shall include the certificated employees as named insured under the liability insurance and errors and omissions policy of the school district.

  • TEACHER PROTECTION Section A: Working Conditions Paragraph 1: The Board agrees to str ive continually to provide working condi- tions which meet federal, state and local laws and regulations.

  • Whistleblower Protections The Party shall not discriminate or retaliate against one of its employees or agents for disclosing information concerning a violation of law, fraud, waste, abuse of authority or acts threatening health or safety, including but not limited to allegations concerning the False Claims Act. Further, the Party shall not require such employees or agents to forego monetary awards as a result of such disclosures, nor should they be required to report misconduct to the Party or its agents prior to reporting to any governmental entity and/or the public.

  • Xxxx Protection 23.1With respect to the Parties' rights and obligations under this Framework Agreement, the Parties agree that the Authority is the Data Controller and that the Supplier is the Data Processor.
