Qualifying for Holiday Pay. In order to qualify for holiday pay, employees must have worked on the scheduled work day prior to the holiday and the scheduled work day immediately after the holiday, unless such absence occurs during paid leave of absence for any reason, or on approved leave of absence for union business for a period of fifteen (15) consecutive days or less.
