Prosecute means preparation, filing, and prosecuting patent applications and maintaining patents, including any reexaminations, reissues, oppositions, inter partes review, and interferences.
Prosecute means to engage in Prosecution.
Prosecute or “Prosecution” has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(a).

Prosecute or “Prosecution” means, with respect to Patents, the preparation of, filing for, prosecuting, responding to oppositions, nullity actions, re-examinations, revocation actions and similar proceedings (including conducting or participating in interference, oppositions, reissue proceedings, reexaminations, post-grant proceedings and any other similar proceeding relating thereto) filed by Third Parties against, and maintaining, Patents.
Prosecute or “Prosecution” means in relation to any Patents, (a) to prepare and file patent applications, including re-examinations or re-issues thereof, and represent applicants or assignees before relevant patent offices or other relevant Governmental Authorities during examination, re-examination and re-issue thereof, in appeal processes and interferences, or any equivalent proceedings [***], (b) to defend all such applications against Third Party oppositions or other challenges, (c) to secure the grant of any patents arising from such patent application, (d) to maintain in force any issued patent (including through payment of any relevant maintenance fees), (e) to obtain and maintain patent term extensions or supplemental protection certificates or their equivalents, and (f) to make all decisions with regard to any of the foregoing activities.

Prosecute or “Prosecuting” means with regard to specified Patent Rights, preparing, filing, prosecuting, validating, maintaining and defending such Patent Rights, including with respect to any re-examination, reissue, revocation, interference or opposition proceedings including any appeal therefrom. For the avoidance of doubt, “Prosecuting” excludes any infringement suits or other legal proceedings to enforce the specified Patent Rights, regardless of whether or not such proceedings involve the defense of the Patent Rights in suit.
Prosecute means, with respect to a Patent Right, all communication and other interaction with any Patent Office or patent authority having jurisdiction over a patent application in connection with pre-grant proceedings.
