The Board and the Association agree that a Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District teacher serving as the President of NEA-Alaska shall be granted a leave of absence with pay upon request during his/her term of office, provided that the costs of such pay and benefits shall be fully reimbursed to the District by NEA- Alaska. TRS eligibility must be approved by the TRS.
