PREPARATION OF BIDS. Bidders enter in column “I” the laid in price per unit (pounds, case or equivalent) for each item. Enter in column “J” the percent xxxx-up (this % markup will be the xxxx up for the year in that category) for each item. Total the laid in price and percent xxxx-up and enter in column “K”. Multiply the total unit cost in column “K” by the total minimum usage in column “H” for each line and enter the extension in the total cost column “L”. Product pricing shall be firm for the periods noted on the Market Basket Bid Sheet. If the bidder wishes to offer a pack size, which is different from the pack shown, state the size offered, convert the number of units to conform to requested pack size and enter this information on the form. For example, if the pack size shown is 6/#10 cans and the vendor wants to offer 4/1-gallon containers, proceed with the net content conversion as discussed above. IU13 will make final decision on the acceptability of products offered as alternate pack size. Any bid response that alters the documented specification must be indicated in bold blue type on the bid response spreadsheet. In addition the changed specification shall be listed on a separate piece of paper and attached to the bid response packet. Bidders must provide their stock code number in the specified column for all items quoted.
