Common use of Positions Designated Bilingual Clause in Contracts

Positions Designated Bilingual. Effective July 1, 2018, and upon the recommendation of the Agency/Department Head and the approval of the Director of Human Resource Services, a person occupying a position designated as requiring fluency in a language other than English shall receive an additional $55.00 per biweekly pay period. A person occupying such a position and having fluency in three (3) or more languages shall receive $60.00 per pay period provided that such a person is required to utilize such additional languages in the course of his/her duties for the County.
