Placement in New Position. A successful internal applicant shall normally be placed in a new position within sixty (60) days of her appointment. If such placement does not occur within the sixty (60) day period due to operational requirements, the successful applicant will receive the higher rate of pay, where applicable, effective the forty-sixth (46th) day.
