Common use of Period of Apprenticeship Clause in Contracts

Period of Apprenticeship. 41.05.01 The apprenticeship term shall be divided into eight (8) or more periods 1,000 hours each (25 weeks x 40 hours). These periods shall be divided between shop work and classroom instruction as arranged by the Company. For electrical apprentices to receive trade certification, Government regulations require an additional 1,000 hours of training. This may be reduced by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities depending on the education level of the apprentice.
