Pay Steps. The column headings in Appendix A denote the various steps in the 23 pay range. The step placement of newly hired nurses shall be determined by the 24 Hospital consistent with the provisions of Section 9.3 below. Thereafter, 25 advancement to the next step shall be made following the completion of years of 26 service as specified in Appendix A.

Pay Steps. Employees shall receive pay step advancements, if applicable, based upon completion of two thousand and twenty two point seven five (2022.75) hours of work at each subsequent Pay Step in the pay range as specified in the Salary Schedule.
