Common use of Pay for Unworked Holidays Clause in Contracts

Pay for Unworked Holidays. Eligible employees who are not assigned to work on a holiday as designated in this Article shall receive holiday pay computed at their straight- time base rate of compensation for the number of hours for which they are normally and regularly scheduled to work, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours.

Pay for Unworked Holidays. Eligible On each of the above mentioned holidays, employees who are not assigned to work on a holiday as designated in this Article shall receive holiday pay computed at their straight- time base rate of compensation for the number of hours for which they are normally and regularly scheduled to work, up to a maximum of be paid eight (8) hourshours at their scheduled rate provided they would have worked on this day if it had not been a holiday or eight (8) hours at their permanent posted rate if not scheduled that week subject to Sections 3, 4, and 5 of this Article.
