Common use of Paid Holidays - Definition Clause in Contracts

Paid Holidays - Definition. For the purpose of this section of the Agreement, a paid holiday shall be taken to mean a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 12:00 a.m. on the holiday concerned. Should either party to this Agreement request swap shifts the request shall be discussed. Any swap shift that might be established would be worked at regular rates and such swap shifts will in no way represent any qualification for overtime or premium rates.
