Common use of Over-Time Pay Clause in Contracts

Over-Time Pay. Employees who work more than forty (40) hours in any work week will be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular rate of pay. If the hours worked over forty (40) occur on Sunday, the employee will be paid two (2) times their regular hourly rate for hours worked on Sunday. For this purpose, all time during which an employee is on some paid status under this Agreement shall be construed as hours worked. To qualify for weekend overtime the employee must work the Friday before and the Monday after.
