Common use of OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT. The County may unilaterally extend the term of this contract by written notice to the contractor at least sixty (60) days before the expiration of any contract term. The exercise of the option shall be for the period specified and for the prices listed on the bid form. All other terms and conditions of the contract shall apply to the option periods. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of all options, shall not exceed three (3) years.
