OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT. A. The Department may, at its sole discretion, extend the Contract Term, by written notice to the Contractor within ten (10) Days of Contract expiration, provided that the Department shall give the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least sixty (60) Days before the Contract expires.
