OF THE RELEASEES Clause Samples

The "OF THE RELEASEES" clause defines the individuals or entities who are being released from liability or claims under an agreement. Typically, this clause lists or describes the parties—such as a company, its employees, agents, or affiliates—who will benefit from the release. For example, in a waiver or settlement, it clarifies exactly who is protected from future legal action by the releasing party. Its core function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes by explicitly identifying all parties covered by the release, thereby reducing the risk of unintended liability.
