Common use of Occupational First Aid Requirements Clause in Contracts

Occupational First Aid Requirements. a) The Union and the Employer agree that first aid regulations made pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. Where the Employer requires an employee to obtain or renew their survival or industrial first aid certificate, the tuition cost shall be borne by the Employer. Designated employees will be granted time off with pay if necessary during normal working hours to renew their certificate.
