Obligations of the AIOs. 1 The AIO is obliged to perform all work that is necessary in connection with his training as a medical specialist and with patient care carefully and to the best of his ability, within the limits laid down by the employer and in accordance with the instructions of the trainer and of the head of department and in accordance with the requirements laid down by the Central Board. The AIO must also observe the regulations governing employment status and the official instructions concerning the organisation of the hospital issued to him by the employer.
