NOTIFICATION OPTION - STANDARD OF REVIEW. 1. The Superintendent, in the event of a contemplated reduction in force, will meet with the Association to discuss which teachers with professional teacher status he contemplates will be dismissed, hereinafter sometimes called “affected teacher(s)”, no later than June 1 of the school year preceding the school year in which the proposed reductions are to take effect. The June 1 date provided herein shall only be applicable, however, to the “affected teachers” originally named by the Superintendent. For example, if as a result of discussions by the Association with the Superintendent, the Superintendent were to change the teachers whom he contemplates being dismissed, the June 1 date would not be applicable.
