Common use of NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES Clause in Contracts

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES. 122. A normal workday is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. A normal work week is a tour of duty on each of five (5) consecutive days from Monday through Friday. Any work performed on Saturdays, Sundays holidays or before the regular scheduled daily starting time or after eight (8) hours of work shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half. Employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to a minimum of 14 calendar days’ notice if assigned to a different shift. Such changes will take place following completion of the employee’s normal work week.
