Non-Inverter-Based Facility Sample Clauses

Non-Inverter-Based Facility. If the Facility uses non-inverter-based power conversion devices (such as rotating machines like synchronous generators and induction generators), Generator must install, at Generator’s expense, over- and under-voltage protection, over- and under-frequency protection, and electrical short-circuit detecting equipment at the Facility to detect Electric System faults involving both phase and ground. Generator may provide these protections by discrete relays or by multi-function microprocessor-based protective relays. Generator also must provide, at Generator’s expense, devices to synchronize the Facility to the Electric System. Generator cannot use Interconnection Facilities for Facility synchronization.
