Gov’t Code Ch. 2274 of SB 19 (87th session), the company hereby certifies and verifies that the company, or association, corporation, partnership, joint venture, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited liability company, including a wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary parent company, or affiliate of these entities or associations, that exists to make a profit, does not have a practice, policy, guidance, or directive that discriminates against a firearm entity or firearm trade association and will not discriminate during the term of this contract against a firearm entity or firearm trade association. Gov’t Code § 2274.001(3) of SB 19.

  • NON-DISCRIMINATION 1. Nationals of a Contracting State shall not be subjected in the other Contracting State to any taxation or any requirement connected therewith, which is other or more burdensome than the taxation and connected requirements to which nationals of that other State in the same circumstances, in particular with respect to residence, are or may be subjected. This provision shall, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 1, also apply to persons who are not residents of one or both of the Contracting States.

The CONSULTANT agrees to abide by Utah's Executive Order, dated June 30, 1989, which prohibits sexual harassment in the work place. Sections 49 CFR 21 through Appendix C (2016) and 23 CFR 710.405(b) (2016) are applicable by reference in all contracts and subcontracts financed in whole or in part with Federal-aid highway funds. The CONSULTANT further agrees to furnish reports to the LOCAL AUTHORITY or DEPARTMENT upon request for the purpose of determining compliance with these statutes identified in this section. The CONSULTANT shall comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The CONSULTANT shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of this contract. The CONSULTANT shall carry out applicable requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 (2016) in the award and administration of federal-aid contracts. Failure by the CONSULTANT to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract, which may result in the termination of this contract or such other remedy as the DEPARTMENT deems appropriate. During the performance of this contract, the CONSULTANT, for itself, its assignees and successors in interest agrees as follows:
