Common use of NO STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS Clause in Contracts

NO STRIKES AND LOCKOUTS. In view of the orderly procedures established by this agreement for the settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, the Union agrees that, during the life of this agreement, there will be no strike, and the Employer agrees that there will be no lockout, in accordance with Provincial Government Laws (including the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act HLDAA) and Regulations.

The word “strike” and the word “lockout” shall have the meaning as set forth in the Labour Relations Act, in accordance with Provincial Government Laws (including the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act HLDAA) and Regulations.1995, as amended.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌
