Common use of NEW MATERIALS Clause in Contracts

NEW MATERIALS. Unless this Agreement otherwise requires virgin material or supplies composed of or manufactured from virgin material, Seller shall provide supplies that are new. Used, reconditioned, remanufactured supplies, or unused former Government surplus property shall not be used unless Company has authorized use of such items. Applicable meanings of new, reconditioned, recovered material, remanufactured, and virgin material are defined in FAR 52.211-5, Material Requirements.
