NEW ENTRY Clause Samples
NEW ENTRY. (NEW HIRE) RATES Effective April 1, 1998, all regular employees hired on or after that date and employees who are in progression shall receive the following hourly and/or mileage rates of pay:
(a) Effective first (1st) day of employment - seventy-five percent (75%) of the current rate.
(b) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus one (1) year - eighty percent (80%) of the current rate.
(c) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus eighteen (18) months - ninety percent (90%) of the current rate.
(d) Effective first (1st) day of employment plus two (2) years - one hundred percent (100%) of the current rate. The above rates of pay shall not apply to casual employees. The term current rate is the applicable hourly and/or mileage rate of pay for the job classification payable under this Agreement.

NEW ENTRY. (NEW HIRE) RATES
A. Wage Progression
1. CDL-qualified drivers (including mechanics and maintenance):
a. Effective first day of employment: 90% of the current rate.
b. Effective first day of employment plus 1 year: 95% of the current rate.
c. Effective first day of employment plus 2 years: 100% of the current rate.
2. All non CDL-qualified employees currently employed shall receive the following hourly rate of pay:
a. Effective first day of employment: 90% of the current driver rate.
b. Effective first day of employment plus 3 years: 100% of the current driver rate
3. In the event the company offers to waive the progression in a classification at any Local, the same offer will be made to all other Standard Forwarding Freight LLC Local Unions in that same classification.
4. No employee on the books as of the date of ratification shall suffer a reduction in their hourly and/or mileage rate of pay as a result of this Agreement.

Section 1. New Entry Rates Effective April 1, 1991, all regular employees hired on or after that date shall receive the following hourly and/or mileage rates of pay:
(a) Effective first (1st) day of employment - 85% of the current rate.
(b) Effective first (1st) anniversary date of employment - 90% of the current rate.
(c) Effective eighteen (18) months from the first (1st) date of employment - 100% of the current rate. The above rates of pay shall not apply to casual employees.
