Common use of Membership Administration Clause in Contracts

Membership Administration. No bargaining unit employee shall be required to become a member of the Association as a condition of employment. Each employee shall have the right to join, not join, maintain, or drop Association membership. It is recognized that the Association is required both under law and under this Agreement to represent all of the employees in the bargaining unit fairly and equally without regard to whether or not an employee is a member of the Association.
