Leave for Disaster Service. (USM Policy VII-7.26) Disaster Service Leave for employees covered by this MOU is governed by Policy VII-7.26 (Approved by the Board of Regents on October 11, 2002) and is subject to all terms and conditions set forth therein.

Leave for Disaster Service. Employees eligible to take leave for disaster service during a disaster that is designated at Level II or above in the regulation and procedures of the National Office of the American Red Cross shall have such leaves administered in accordance with USM Policy VII – 7.26 concerning leave for disaster service.

  • Termination for Force Majeure In the event of a force majeure that lasts longer than thirty (30) days from the date that a Party claiming relief due to the force majeure event gives notice to the other Party, the Party not claiming relief under the force majeure event may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other Party. For the avoidance of doubt, the COVID-19 pandemic does not constitute a force majeure event.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.
