Lead Premium. Personnel who have been designated as a lead employee by their immediate supervisor, and who have functional responsibility for three (3) or more employees for a substantial portion of a shift, shall be paid an additional one dollar and eighty cents ($1.80) per hour for each hour spent in such capacity. Upon mutual agreement, the parties may, by department, agree to designate a lead employee without meeting the requirements set forth above.
