LABOUR RELATIONS EDUCATION. 25.1 Where the Parties agree that it is in their mutual best interests, the Corporation agrees to grant leave with pay for employees to attend training specifically related to the understanding and application of Collective Agreements in order to meet the Purpose and Intent of this Agreement as described in Article 1 (Purpose and Intent of Agreement). The focus of such training may include, but is not limited to, courses on the operation of joint committees, dispute resolution, effective grievance handling and arbitration. The type and duration of such training courses are to be mutually agreed on an annual basis.
