KNOWLEDGE OF AREA GEOGRAPHY. This competency refers to having achieved a satisfactory level of knowledge of FDCs, Xxxx boxes, Hydrants and territory and having the ability to respond to calls by the most appropriate routes. Does not meet expectations: Becomes disoriented when responding to calls. Is unable to relate his/her location to a destination. Is unable to determine compass directions in normal situations. Does not recognize landmarks. Continually asks other units or Dispatch for cross streets or other markers. Employee rarely demonstrates knowledge of FDC’s, Xxxx Boxes, Hydrants and Territory. Meets expectations: Reasonably aware of his/her location. Demonstrates good sense of direction. Recognizes landmarks to aid in orientation. Employee demonstrates adequate knowledge of most FDC’s, Xxxx Boxes, Hydrants, and Territory. Far exceeds expectations: Always responds quickly to calls by the most appropriate route. Knows addresses to locations or the landmark by the address. Employee consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of FDC’s, Xxxx Boxes, Hydrants, and Territory.

  • Knowledge of Subject Matter The teacher demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge of theory and content in general education and subject matter specialization(s) at the elementary and/or secondary levels. The evaluation procedure assesses the teacher's knowledge of the subject(s) she/he is required to teach and will consider the:

  • TECHNOLOGY/KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ACTIVITIES The goal of this task is to develop a plan to make the knowledge gained, experimental results, and lessons learned available to the public and key decision makers. The Recipient shall: • Prepare an Initial Fact Sheet at start of the project that describes the project. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Final Project Fact Sheet at the project’s conclusion that discusses results. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan that includes: o An explanation of how the knowledge gained from the project will be made available to the public, including the targeted market sector and potential outreach to end users, utilities, regulatory agencies, and others.

  • Knowledge Whenever a representation or warranty or other statement in this Agreement (including, without limitation, Schedule I hereto) is made with respect to a Person's "knowledge," such statement refers to such Person's employees or agents who were or are responsible for or involved with the indicated matter and have actual knowledge of the matter in question.

  • Knowledge and Scholarship in Special Field Each certificated support person demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge of theory and content in the special field. He demonstrates an understanding of a knowledge about common school education and the educational milieu grades K12, and demonstrates the ability to integrate the area of specialty into the total school milieu, to wit:

  • Lockouts No lockout of employees shall be instituted by the Employer during the term of this Agreement.

  • Specialist knowledge and skills Indicative but not exclusive tasks include: the undertaking of semi-skilled work, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing and ironing, shopping, sweeping paths, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, defrosting refrigerators, emptying and cleaning of commodes, banking and account payment, organising appointments, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants.

  • No Lockouts No lockouts, or refusal to allow employees to perform available work, shall be instituted by the Employer and/or its Appointing Authorities during the life of this Agreement.

  • STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS 5.01 During the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a further agreement are being held the Union will not permit or encourage any strike, slowdown, or any stoppage of work or otherwise restrict or interfere with the Employer's operation through its members.

  • Education and Specialized Knowledge Preferably secondary school graduation; a good working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations; a good knowledge of safety rules and regulations as they pertain to the driving and/or operation of the vehicles, equipment and machinery involved; preferably graduation from a defensive driving course and/or a recognized training program in the driving and operation of commercial type vehicle or heavy equipment.

  • Sustainable Development 4.1 The Authority will review the Contractor’s Sustainable Development Policy Statement and Sustainable Development Plan submitted by the Contractor in accordance with the Schedule (Sustainable Development Requirements) and then at least annually thereafter.
