Common use of Jury/Witness Duty Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury/Witness Duty Leave. 25.01 This benefit is only applicable to full-time regular employees. The employee will be granted a temporary leave of absence if called for jury or witness service. While serving on jury or witness duty, the employee will be paid the normal basic wage, less the jury duty allowance. The employee must present his/her jury-witness notice to his/her supervisor when aware of the need for the leave for jury/witness duty.
