Common use of Jury and Court Appearance Clause in Contracts

Jury and Court Appearance. An employee who serves on jury duty or subpoenaed witness shall be released from his/her scheduled work for such hours as are necessary for the performance of jury duty. He/she shall not have any salary reduction, nor be charged with any leave time for such service. Such employee shall be entitled to keep any compensation received for jury duty.
